Escape from the heat with this refreshing whisky cocktail!

After discovering Marionberries, I had to use it in a cocktail. Little did I know...they are just fancy Oregon blackberries! Cheers!


The Rosemarion

  • 2 oz Crown Royal

  • 0.5 oz fresh-squeezed lemon juice

  • 0.5 oz simple syrup

  • 1.0 oz Marionberry and rosemary reduction

  • 1 flamed sprig rosemary



  1. Mix ingredients together in a shaker

  2. Add ice and shake

  3. Pour over 2 large ice cubes

  4. Garnish with flamed rosemary sprig


Marionberry and Rosemary Reduction

  • 1 cup Marionberries

  • 3 sprigs fresh rosemary

  1. Heat Marionberries in a saucepan over medium heat until soft

  2. Mash berries into a coarse puree

  3. Mix in rosemary leaves

  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes

  5. Puree reduction with an immersion blender

  6. Strain out seeds and leave-bits

  7. Refrigerate for 2 hours before use
